The problem: HelloMD landed a massive deal with Shoppers Drugmart and the white label medical form that we had been using for our clinical partnerships was not going to cut it.

Old form:

This form was long overdue for an update. We were already using it for 20 or so clinical partnerships in the US. Each one was slightly different, depending on the unique needs of the clinic and the state they were located in.

They were also built on an outdated system and it was extremely time consuming to build forms on the old system.

The Shoppers partnership required a more flexible and extensible solution.

Between the US and Canada, the total addressable market for clinics is about $50 million per year.

We were bringing in a small fraction of that.

In order to better serve this market, we decided to build out a new form system and do a full rewrite.

New form components:

What you’re seeing here is not a real form, but a sample made from the components

This system is now deployed across 12 US states and 5 Canadian provinces.

The system currently sees about 190 patients per day, bringing in about $38,000 per month. That’s more than 3x the revenue we had from partner clinics before the Shoppers deal and the new system.

The system also served as the starting point for another system that I did for HelloMD’s customer service admin.
